Our story

OUR STORY

Fully Loaded K9 Academy wasn’t born from a business plan — it was born from purpose.

I’m Keith, a U.S. Army veteran who went through years of internal battles long after my time in uniform ended. Therapy helped, but something unexpected changed my life more than anything: a dog.

A dog doesn’t judge you.
A dog doesn’t interrupt you.
A dog simply stays — present, loyal, steady.

For me, that connection became healing.

In December 2020, I founded Fully Loaded K9 Academy in the Cabot / Jacksonville, Arkansas area with a simple mission:

Help dogs become the best versions of themselves —
and help people feel whole in the process.

What started as one veteran training a few dogs in a backyard has grown into a thriving training academy serving families, pet owners, and veterans throughout the state. We now offer:

  • Board-and-Train programs

  • Private, one-on-one sessions

  • Group obedience classes

  • Service-dog training for veterans and individuals with qualifying needs

We don’t believe in cookie-cutter training. Every dog is different. Every owner is different. So we tailor every program to the dog in front of us and the family behind them.

You won’t find shock-and-awe tactics or harsh methods here — just clarity, communication, structure, and trust. Our training philosophy is built on relationship first, obedience second.

Today, Fully Loaded K9 Academy is continuing to expand and improve right here in Arkansas. We’re building a new training facility designed for comfort, safety, and world-class results — because dogs deserve a training environment that reduces stress and increases learning, and owners deserve a place where they feel supported and understood.

We don’t just train dogs.
We change families.
We restore confidence.
We build connection.

And for many veterans — including myself — we help save lives.

Welcome to Fully Loaded K9 Academy.
